How correctly to punish a dog, to beat or not to beat here in what a question
Usually many dog lovers face this question: what act of a dog can serve as the reason for punishment and how correctly to punish a dog? This problem for beginning fans of dogs is especially painful.
It is by all means necessary to stop any attempts of purposeful aggression from outside a dog in the relation both its owner, and all other members of a family. Especially, if "initiative" proceeds directly from a dog, that is, she tries to prove thus force the right of the power in this territory.
It is necessary to punish also for malicious insubordination, the more which it is accompanied by displays aggressions. The matter is that the dog in the acts is guided by exclusively attempts to establish the status in a society by a principle of purely natural laws of flight (in it speak genetic features). Some people, more flexible, catch purely intuitively how to adjust relations with a dog. The others operate by trial and error. But there are also such "losers" who cannot create the relation in any way which, corresponding from the point of view of an animal to these most gregarious laws, would arrange everything, doing coexistence in the house peace and pleasant.
So with what errors these "losers" sin? As a rule, here there are two extreme measures.
The first extreme measure – at all unreasonable love and pity to animals in general and to dogs in particular these people too also are too dependent on mood that is why their behaviour has no accurate system. Rules at such owners vary together with their mood. That they lisp and caress the favourite, that, being in gloomy mood, drive from itself. Usually they are inclined to forgive to the favourites practically all. And imperceptibly pass to supporting roles … a Dog having few-malskie inclinations of leadership, starts to feel "leader" with such owner. In spite of the fact that the owner – its supporter, it starts to order about it, and even to punish under the laws accepted at predators. For example, the dog, including itself the leader, can seize "by right" the first the fallen cutlet, and even to snatch thus the owner for a hand. Also will consider itself absolutely right – under subordination laws … becomes even more sad Further: The dog ceases to submit, and at worst – starts to defend the advantage on the right of reception of food before children, the old men living in the house, by aggression in relation to those.
If about a breed choice to speak already late. The dog is, and together with it – and "the grown up" problems which have ripened conflicts. In that case it is better to "spineless" owner not to remain with these problems alone and not to try them to solve independently. Fight for a place of the leader always demands experience and forces, and in it, once having receded, it is already very difficult to make up for lost time. Therefore it is better to address to the professional and under its control to learn to influence correctly a dog, by training which at the skilful approach is always capable to help. Already then, having learnt elements of correct behaviour with an animal under the direction of the skilful instructor, it is possible to operate at home independently. It will help and to feel more confident.
The second extreme measure – owners of dogs who have the inferiority complexes, and try to compensate them by the severe and boundless power over an animal, and can – and over other members of a family. Such "leader" - an aggressor feels pleasure, scoffing at a dog. It likes to feel almost god, and he thrashes a dog apropos and without that is very insulting for an animal. Such owner risks itself to be bitten the dog when that will grow up and will grow up. And aggression from outside dogs will be quite justified: it only attempt in despair will rescue the skin. After all at predators the leader is strong, but at the same time is reasonable and indulgent. If to it have obeyed – everything, it will not apply more force. Therefore the dog also will not understand never the person who does not know a measure in punishment, and will not accept its authority.
